Mr Simon Andrew

Current role: Lecturer in medical imaging. Programme lead for RADM201DA Image interpretation module. 

I am the module lead for the image interpretation module for the MSc apprenticeship in medical imaging. I also teach on the BSc apprenticeship across many modules but mostly on the 001 modules. 

I work part time with the University and part time at the RDU Hospital as a Reporting radiographer. Doing both roles, while very stressful at times, gives me a unique perspective of both academic and clincal life. Being a reporting radiographer my skill set is heavily based on image interpretation, anatomy, pathology and physiology as well as clinical skills.
