Postgraduate Researcher
Medical Imaging (Radiography)

I am a PhD candidate at the University of Exeter, researching how nutritional supplementation affects cerebral blood flow (CBF) using advanced imaging techniques, such as arterial spin labeling (ASL) and Blood Oxygenation Level Dependent (BOLD) in MRI, along with transcranial Doppler (TCD). My work focuses on understanding the impact of dietary changes on brain vascular health, utilising the RespirAct system for precise control of vascular reactivity.

I completed MRI training at Monklands Hospital in 2018 and graduated with a Master’s degree from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2019. With my background as a radiology technologist in Saudi Arabia, my research aims to translate imaging insights into practical health outcomes, promoting preventive and personalized healthcare strategies.
