Ifraax Abdi Osman is a Lecturer at the University of Exeter, where she teaches on the BSc Medical Imaging (Diagnostic Radiography) program as well as the Diagnostic Radiographer Degree Apprenticeship. She earned her undergraduate degree magna cum laude in Milan, Italy, before moving to Glasgow, where she completed her Master's degree with distinction at the Glasgow Caledonian University.

 

In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Ifraax serves as the Widening Participation Lead and Employability Lead within her department. She is deeply committed to promoting inclusivity and equal opportunities in higher education, with a strong passion for encouraging students from all backgrounds to apply to university and realise their potential. Her work as an educator is driven by a focus on supporting students throughout their academic journey, helping them to achieve their goals and prepare for successful careers.

 

Ifraax’s contributions in these roles have allowed her to create meaningful initiatives that guide students through university life, ensuring they are well-equipped to excel in both their studies and their future professional endeavours.
