Mr Daniel Williamson
Associate Lecturer in Medical Imaging
Medical Imaging (Radiography)
I am an Associate Lecturer in medical imaging, specialising in cross-sectional imaging and MRI neuroimage analysis. My background in clinical CT and MRI and advanced imaging techniques has allowed me to make significant contributions to the field through teaching and peer-reviewed publications. I am studying for a PhD with a research interest in quantitative susceptibility mapping and brain iron deposition in neurodegenerative diseases and ageing, and I aim to enhance our understanding of neurodegenerative diseases, identify predictive biomarkers of early disease processes, and provide insights that could significantly improve diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
